You can now find Epic here.
Epic raids on a limited schedule. This means that we have significantly less raiding time than an average raiding guild, but we still seek high caliber members who will enable us to progress quickly.
We typically raid three days per week: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Sunday. Weekday raids will run from 8:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. (server time) with invites starting at 7:30 p.m. Weekend raiding will typically start at 4:00 in the afternoon. This may vary based on the time constraints of members and amount of progression desired for the day.
Attendance & Participation
Given our limited schedule, we must balance between progression and time constraints. Members are not expected to make every raid, but nevertheless should attempt to make as many as possible.
We use a raid sign up system that is accessible via the guild website. All members should monitor the posted raids and sign-up when possible. If you are unsure of your ability to make the raid, please queue yourself and communicate any relevant details. If you sign-up, please make every effort to attend. We would expect a reasonable and timely explanation any time a member signed up (non-queued) and did not show for the raid.
We expect all guild members to be able to commit to the entire raid unless they communicated otherwise previously. All raid members should also be prepared for progression runs with a supply of flasks, potions, elixirs, food, and other consumables.
LeadershipWhile we believe that a strong guild must be led by its members, it is also important to have strong leadership that will moderate and enact the guild's policies and direction. Due to this, we ask that all members be vocal and proactive about the direction of the guild. That said, decisions will ultimately rest with the officers.
Guild Master: Corleone
Assistant GMs: Hektor and Legendkiller
Officers: Darkclown, Gannam, Kalipso, Manerva, Psykhe, and Seraphis
New applicants for membership will first have their application reviewed, follow up questions may then be asked, and finally an invitation may be extended. Once accepted, new members will be in an initiate status for approximately 2-3 weeks. Initiates are encouraged to sign up for as many raids as possible, but they will have last priority over existing members during this stage.
After 2-3 weeks, the guild officers will discuss and make a decision to either promote to full membership or remove the initiate from the guild. This decision will be made based on a variety of factors including raid sign-up, attendance, and performance; knowledge of the class; personal maturity level; and general attitude.
Ongoing guild membership for all members is contingent on contributing to the guild on a regular basis through raids. If you expect to be absent for more than two weeks, please let us know ahead of time. Also, we have a firm expectation that all guild members will abide by World of Warcraft's Terms of Use and will consequently not engage in botting, cheating, hacking, selling or buying of gold or characters for real currency, or any other prohibited activity.
Loot Rules
For 10 person raids, such as Zul'Aman, we will use a random roll system for all drops. Please note that members with lower than 33% attendance over the preceding two weeks (excluding the current raid) will be expected to pass to members with better attendance records.
Rolling priority will be as follows:
For 25 person raids, we will use Suicide Kings. New initiates will be added to the Suicide Kings list when attending their first raid, but will start at the bottom of the list. If no primary-use classes and specs are present or need the item, secondary-use classes and specs will be allowed to do a random roll for the item without requiring a change in Suicide King position. Any players who are queued for the raid and are available to swap in at the time the loot is distributed will receive promotion in the Suicide Kings list.
